Bodeguita is more than a store; it’s a retail space born from a dream — created to connect young Mexican brands with the people who believe in them.

THE BEGINNING

When I first arrived in Puerto Escondido, I was struck by the energy here — a dynamic community full of creativity, courage, and soul. So many young, innovative, like-minded people, all part of this beautiful patchwork of Puerto, yet with no place to showcase their work.

THE VISION

I wanted to build a space that feels like Puerto itself — free, vibrant, unexpected — rooted in surf and skate culture, and one that would become a destination for design, culture, and connection.

THE ROOTS

Before moving here, I spent almost fifteen years as a fashion buyer in London, working for some of the biggest young fashion retailers. My passion was always discovering new designers and helping them bring their ideas to life. That same passion still drives me today.

THE SPIRIT

Bodeguita is the result of that same spirit: taking a leap, trusting your gut, and building something from the heart. It’s where experience meets intuition, and where design connects people.
